Im leaving from Canada to Mexico and am wondering If anyone would know if I can find a really nice steel string acoustic guitar in MExico, particularlly Veracruz or even Cancun where I fly into, all this for a cheap price, say less than $200 canadian!

If you are looking to buy a guitar when you go to Mexico I suggest buying a flamenco/ nylon string guitar there. It is the indigenious home style way to go.

Sat, February 2, 2008 - 3:25 PMAnother important thing to rember. Many of the luthers there work in open air shops, very bad for you when you take it back to Can. Land. they have a tendacy to come apart in rad diff. climats, like yours ! ONLY buy if it was made in a climate controlled shop.
